Our rates have had to rise for 2023 as everything is so much more expensive, from electricity to cleaning products...

Our rates include all water and electricity. Bed linen and bath towels are provided as well as tea towels, sponges and cloths etc. Please bring your own swimming towels.

Washing up liquid, salt and pepper, sugar, tea and coffee is almost always in the cupboard - please replace what you use up for the next visitors.

On arrival you will be met by the lovely Catherine who will show you how everything works and answer any questions you might have. Full details about the house will be sent to you a couple of weeks prior to your stay.

All crockery for 4 people is provided in the cabanon and there is crockery for 10 in the house. We have tried hard to ensure that you have everything you need for a self catering break. It used to drive me wild when the knives were blunt and there was no wine opener in rental properties we went to so we have tried really hard to include everything you might need in the kitchen. If there is something you really need then please ask us before and we can let you know whether it's there or not!

We ask for a refundable breakages deposit to be paid into our account during your stay - this is refunded within 2 weeks provided there are no breakages etc.

There is a compulsory cleaning charge of €400 at the end of your stay (this covers the cost of cleaning the property and washing and ironing the linen). If you require cleaning during your stay please ask Catherine and she will try to arrange it for you.

Booking & Cancellation policy

We require 20% of your booking cost up front. This figure in non-refundable under all circumstances. 

40% of your total is due 8 weeks prior to the start date of your holiday. Once paid, this is non-refundable in the event of you cancelling the booking thereafter.

The final amount is due 3 weeks prior to the start date of your holiday. Once paid, this is non-refundable in the event of you cancelling the booking thereafter.

Payment must be made to our French bank account and all monies must be cleared in that account by the due date.

If your booking is less that 8 weeks away then we require 55% of your booking to be paid on booking. Once paid, this is non-refundable in the event of you cancelling the booking thereafter.

If your booking is less that 3 weeks away then payment must be made in full on booking. Once paid, this is non-refundable in the event of you cancelling the booking thereafter.

Bookings will be confirmed once we have received the completed booking form, signed rental agreement and deposit.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking if payment is not received within this timescale and you will lose your deposit. However, once your booking has been confirmed by us after receipt of a completed and signed booking form together with a deposit, you are responsible for the full rental cost even if you subsequently cancel.

If we are able to re-let following a cancellation (which is likely to be at a lesser price than you paid), we will refund the final letting price less an administration fee (usually around 40E depending on the circumstances). In the event we are unable to re-let, there will be no refund under any circumstance. We highly recommend you take out holiday insurance with cancellation cover to avoid paying for the holiday you were unable to enjoy.

If we have to cancel your booking in advance, due to circumstances beyond our control (known as ‘force majeure’), eg fire, flood, epidemics, damage or destruction of the property, exceptional weather conditions, we will refund the full amount of the booking. If terminated early during your holiday, a refund based on the time remaining of the booking will be given. No additional compensation, expenses or costs will be paid. We are not under any obligation to find alternative accommodation for you.
