La Rouxane is comprised of 2 properties available for you to rent as a single unit in June, July and August.
The house sleeps 6 in a large double (or twin), a standard double and a twin. The cabanon sleeps 4 in a standard double and twin.
The house comprises 3 bedrooms, large sitting room with table for 8 people, snug, kitchen, bathroom with bath and separate loo upstairs and shower room with loo downstairs. It had a beautiful shaded terrace to the front of the house where there is a large wooden table and benches, and relaxed seating for 10. We have a large Weber BBQ and BBQ tools on the patio for use in the summer (the use of any open flame is strictly forbidden between May and September due to the fire risk).
The kitchen has an oven with grill and 4 electric hobs, microwave, toaster, filter coffee machine, ice maker, fridge (small internal freezer box only), dishwasher. All crockery etc for 10 is included. There is a washing machine for your use in the garage.
Th cabanon comprises 2 bedrooms, an open plan kitchen/dining/living space and a shower room. It is fully equipped to function as a separate property with it's own BBQ. The kitchen has a fridge with icebox, filter coffee machine, microwave and washing machine. All crockery for 4 is included.
The gardens cover 7.5 acres of vines, olive grove, woodlands and swimming pool. The pool is approximately 12m x 5m and about 1.2m deep all the way along. It is not heated but is in full sun for the majority of the day so generally maintains a heat of around 24-27deg all summer.
La Rouxane is an old Bastide dating from the late 1800's that was derelict and was rebuilt, we think, in the 1960's with some further works in the 1990's. It retains it's old charms and quirky angles but we have now brought it very much in the the 2020's with a new oak staircase, new bathrooms and new flooring upstairs. There is more we would like to do but it is an ongoing project!
